The Road to Becoming The King of Games

Who will rise up and become NYCYDC's First King of Games?

UPDATE: As of 5/18/2020, anyone who is an UNRANKED Member who loses to an UNRANKED Member in a Ranked Duel, shall have the title of "PEASANT".

Conducts and Carry Out of Ranked Challenges

If you wish to Challenge a Member to a Ranked Duel, you must challenge someone of equal or lower Rank

For Example: Rank of Pawn may challenge another Rank of Pawn and/or an Unranked and/or a "Peasant" for these are all lower ranks than Rank of Pawn

You may not challenge to a Ranked Duel, someone of a higher rank except on designated Ranked Duel Days that usually takes place once per month or you may receive and accept a challenge to a Ranked Duel from a Higher Ranking Member.

For Example: An Unranked Duelist cannot challenge a Rank of Knight. However, the Unranked duelist can receive and accept a Ranked Duel from a Higher Ranking Member

Ranks are Earned or Lost in the order it was received.

For Example:

Duelist A - Starts at Unranked

Duelist A - Earns Rank of Pawn

Duelist A - Earns Rank of Pawn+1

Duelist A duels Duelist Z (both are Rank of Pawn+1)

Duelist A loses Ranked Duel

Duelist A goes down to Rank of Pawn

Duelist Z goes up to Rank of Pawn+2

All ranks are recorded on the nycydc.ws website and can be used as a reference to determine who you must challenge to earn your way up.

Ranked duels are more than just Skill or Deck Preparation, it is also about strategy and choosing your opponents well based on your knowledge of them.

Ranked Duels DO NOT have to be conducted during Meetups only. Not location specific.
